Little Thoughts

Nota Bene :
Fellow souls, read and think about it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are humans, with a mind said to be superior to the rest of the world, with a conscience said to be as big as the world, and finally a soul said to be the world. Yet, we face problems every now and then and get bogged down by many, only to create more crises. We get depressed, frustrated or just freaked out, and are lost in confusion, continued by baseless actions and finally remorse. Why do we all go through such sufferings?

Imagine yourself, running through a grassy field hoping to get to a certain spot at the end of the field. You cannot see where you are going, nor hear nor feel. Only your intuition is what is guiding you. There might be a lot of ways to reach your goal, but there's plenty more to get lost. And what almost always happens is that you make a mistake at the very beginning itself, forever loosing the path that would lead you to your aim, or in life, your destiny.

So why do we all go through such sufferings? It's because we made that mistake at the very beginning of our life. We forgot to check our most fundamental "asset". Our intellect.

Since birth, we have been affected by innumerable factors, of various categories and in varying intensities. All of that constituted in making us, us. And because of such diverse influence, we are not perfect beings. Several "trojans" have invaded our minds and they, sometimes,  lead us to incorrect and partial conclusions, thereby preventing us from reaching that spot in our corn field. We try and we try again, again and again and we fail nevertheless. It'd feel as if we were going through a loop of mistakes and consequences. And so, our intellect, this faulty compass of ours, lead us nowhere. Thus we go about suffering throughout our limited time.

The question, being what to do about this. A small but significant idea, in which lies a notion to a solution, is presented below.

It's common knowledge that usually, under pressure, our efficiency decreases. And that by stabilizing ourselves, we get better. By being calm, we can function better. Analyze and extrapolate from this knowledge. By removing such a constraint the outcome increased. Hence it's not out of the world to say that if you remove many such  unwanted distractions, you could function a lot better. Distractions, here, are certain emotions, temptations, pressure, and the many other things that bug us. If, somehow, we were to be free from all that, be unaffected, our compass might point the right way.

The moment we truly understand this, we change. The moment we believe this, we improve.

The moment. Its here. Its now. Focus.

Bliss..

"An artist who performs to live... or another who lives to perform. Now, tell me my friends, for whom should I clap my hands more ?"

This was one of those times when that "philosophical" persona kicked in from the vast multitudes within myself... I wrote a lot in my mind, erasing each letter as I wrote them, although some "stuff" like the above proved pleasingly persistent to my efforts. When I was younger, I used to wonder what my face looked like. Of course there were mirrors that came in pretty frames then too, but am referring to more of a...well.."philosophical" aspect. Flow with me, will ya ? Ahem... anyway.. to me my face looked blank. Felt blank. I could see another 10 year old's and feel what kind of a child he/she was. But I could not feel my own. It was all too complicated back then and my tiny mind couldn't register them all. Time flew, I grew. Now when I retrace my steps I am starting to excavate the colossal spiritual theme lying in that riddle.

We all live our lives making efforts to find that purpose of existence, knowingly or not, sincerely or not, but certainly throughout our limited time. Experiences, thoughts, knowledge, wisdom, emotions.. through all, we pass through with this one common goal. And yet again, we most often  find ourselves lacking that very special element that could throb our quest to completion. Whatever this secret ingredient is, it's to be found out on our own. It's to be planted, nourished and reaped by our own hands. To humanize is to create. And create we will.

By this, I welcome you here where serendipity through abstract thinking is of order. Welcome to The First Perspective.
